Another pond discovery...tiger salamander. I saw it walking across the snow at the east end of the pond, heading towards the water -- very cool. It was at least 7 inches long.
The geese arrived a couple of weeks ago and have been marking their territory; the ducks are starting to move in now.
Today, I heard the FROGS for the first time.
And our main sump pump is starting to work.
Pubi left us our first mouse (trophy) head of the season.
Surely spring is around the corner.
