Since the last update, Christmas has come and gone! We spent Christmas Eve with Éva and Gyuri. On our way home we stopped by my brother's place to join them and Barb's side of the family...all 25 of them...wow-huge family. It was great to see them all, it has been way too long. Christmas Day was at my mom's. We had a giant turkey with her famous stuffing, cabbage rolls, and her yummy baking! I did my best to say a little speach - but of course I only got a few words out before my eyes teared up...but I got through it. Boxing Day, we took Éva and Gyuri to the airport...we sent them to Hungary for 3 weeks!! Éva's brother and wife didn't know they were going. What a great surprise!
There has been a few changes at the house. The taping and sanding was done a few weeks ago. As soon as Attila saw this, he jumped on it and got his guy to "prime" the whole house - it was done in less than 4 hours. Since then, we have been working on the accent colors for different rooms, and feature walls.
We were just there this afternoon and the cabinets are all unpacked and sorted into their appropriate rooms. WOW! WOW!! WOW!!! It's going to look great! Trevor at Legacy Kitchens is the best to work with. He's actually the same guy who helped us with our McKenzie Towne house. Of course I forgot to bring the camera with me this time so perhaps we will go out there tomorrow and take pictures of the cabinets.
